Took my car in for a service and was made aware of what was going on at all times. Well mannered people and did a good job with the car. Pretty happy and will be coming back for more services for sure if not for one of the many nice cars they have on show.
This is the first time i have written a online review but i think if someone has done a great job then they should be praised. I have just been to collect my new car from Imperial Cars in Mountsorrel and i have to say how pleased i am with not only the car but also with how warmly i was dealt with by everybody in the dealership. Honest Review. I have just been to Imperial Cars Mountsorrel/Loughborough with my brother in law to pick up his 2016 Mercedes E Class Coupe.The reason for only 2 stars was the way the car sale was dealt with. Firstly, a chip in the windscreen with a scratch was mentioned to the manager (Martin Hall) who came and viewed the car with us. A very hostile guy who didn't smile once may I add and clearly doesn't know customer service or generally how to be polite. We asked for a windscreen replacement but he wouldn't do that, just kept stating it was second hand car. They did knock 50 of the "admin fee" so we could put it towards getting his insurance to replace it. Secondly, the whole time the handover manager (Chris) had 2 Mercedes keys with him, leading us to believe the car came with 2 keys. I didn't even ask how many keys it had due to seeing him with them during the whole hour we were with him. Once all the paperwork had been signed and the balance paid, we then asked for the second key in which they informed us that it only had 1. When questioned what the other 2 keys were they said it wasn't for the Mercedes we were buying but for another! Terrible tactics - the car would have genuinely not been bought if this was the case as new Mercedes keys are expensive. Go with your eyes open and make sure you go over everything twice. We will not be purchasing anymore cars from the garage or recommending it due to the above points. I would however like to state whilst I feel Chris hid the fact the car only had 1 key, he is a pleasant gentleman who should probably teach the main manager a thing or two about how to deal with customers. If it wasn't his pleasant nature the review would have only been 1 star. Regards
I received an excellent service. Friendly and welcoming service from Vish and the service department, with a cup of coffee offered every time I walked through the door. I had a new clutch master cylinder fitted and ready to collect within 24hrs of me dropping my car off. All days before Xmas when other garages didn't want to know. To top it off my car was cleaned inside and out at no extra cost. Very impressed. Cheers
